The Roots of the PMT

Don Oscar Miro-Queseda's relationship with Peruvian shamanism began under the guidance of the respected huachumero Don Celso Rojas Palomino from 1969 to 1986. Following Don Celso's passing, Don Oscar spent four years apprenticing with Don Benito Corihuamán Vargas, a well-known kuraq akulleq from Wasao. Both mentors underscored the necessity of preserving these ancient practices by sharing them with people in the West. This commitment led Don Oscar to establish The Pachakuti Mesa Tradition™ of Cross-Cultural Shamanism, ensuring that the powerful legacies of these revered elders continue as a healing gift to future generations.
